Stratford boys football team win!

The boys football team made history on Friday 7th November with a 1–0 win over Goatstown E.T.S.S., marking their first victory of the season (and only the second in a couple of years) writes Ianis in 3rd year.

Stratford National School 6th class pupils experience a morning of secondary school classes

The Stratford National School 6th class pupils spent Friday morning, 7th November, mentored by 1st Years and 5th Year prefects as they experienced a 'day-in-the-life' of a secondary school student in Stratford College.

Stratford teachers participate in Erasmus+ TD3C research project

Researchers Dr Keith Johnston and Helena Ledermann from Trinity College Dublin/Learnovate provided the opening workshop on Thursday 6th November for the TD3C  (Teacher Digital Content Creation Competencies) Erasmus+ project which a number of teachers from Stratford College will be participating in over the coming months.

Stratford College Welcomes New Staff Members 2025-2026

We are delighted to announce the appointment of five new teachers for the upcoming academic term.

Ms. Roynayne joins our staff to teach Music and French. Ms. Coffey is teaching Irish Ms. Sulyk is a highly experienced Guidance Counsellor. Ms. Tzika is a highly qualified Special Needs Assistant.

1st Year Science students complete the Egg Drop experiment

Dr Ryan and the 1st Years were making various containers to keep a raw egg from cracking when dropped from different heights on Monday 3rd November.

Zombie Labs in the Science Lab

Friday 31st October and the 1st year and 2Y students completed their zombie lab in science  to use their scientific skills of observation, data analysis and acid/base reactions to discover which of the 6 patients were human or zombies and even discover which zombie was patient zero. 

TY Weekly: Mellon Educate talk, finishing self-defence classes, getting ready for work experience

The TY's continue to explore new skills and become aware of opportunities to follow such as the Mellon Educate fundraising programme, while all the time organising work experience for the first week in December. Liam (TY) writes about the latest happenings.

Colaiste Uisce, 2nd & 6th Year trip!

On the 22nd of October Stratford’s Second and Sixth years took an exciting trip to Coláiste Uisce in Co. Mayo.
